Mary’s Visit to Elizabeth
“But why am I so favored, that the
mother of my Lord should come to me?”
A little over ten years ago I began looking for something else to fulfill my personal and professional life, which are completely connected because my work is not only a job but also my passion and my calling. One morning as I was walking outside a playground, I looked up at the sky and whispered, “God, I would really like to work in a school such as this one.” At that time I was performing an inspection for accreditation at this very specific preschool where I could feel God’s presence. That very day I received a call from my former supervisor letting me know that Van Dyke Day School (now Bay Hope Day School) was looking for a new director. That was for me the beginning of the best times to come and so “Why me?”
Oh, how thankful I am for what God had in store for my family and me. This work has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I was and continue to be honored for being the chosen one to lead this very profound ministry where we “lead little children and their families into a growing relationship with Jesus.”
